![]() ![]() I therefore made a second checkout, just to make sure my tool is working correct. Splatterladder seems to also not list the server, weird ^7Server ^8USA\sv_privateClients\4\mapname\railgun\protocol\82 imelimit\30\version\ETīut from here i am out of clue. \omnibot_playing\0\omnibot_enable\1\P\1\voteFlags\4352\g_balancedteams\1\g_bluelimbotime\10000\g_redlimbotime\10000\gamename\jaymod\mod_version\2.1.7\mod_url\\mod_binary\windows-release\sv_uptime\00d07h45m\sv_cpu\i586\g_heavyWeaponRestriction\100\g_gametype\2\g_antilag\1\g_voteFlags\0\g_alliedmaxlives\0\g_axismaxlives\0\g_minGameClients\8\g_needpass\0\g_maxlives\0\g_friendlyFire\1\sv_allowAnonymous\0\sv_floodProtect\1\sv_maxPing\0\sv_minPing\0\sv_maxRate\13000\sv_minguidage\0\sv_punkbuster\0\sv_maxclients\20\sv_hostname\^8.^7T^8F^7A^8. Here getstatus response with wetsi.exe getstatus 108.59.74.169 27960 So the problem must be something local i think, most likely the weird et client browser or some other weird stuff. The Ip you mentioned above (108.59.74.169:27960), it seems both lists have it You probably run some multi protocol or something. Iif you have any suggestion let me know too :). ![]() I’ll let you know if I have any development. At least now I know I need to have a player connected if I want to see my server. I’ll keep testing and searching for a definitive answer to my problem. A few years ago I started a small server for about a week and I had people joining frequently (especially when 1 or more player(s) were online). That does not prove anything but it sounds strange to me. During our game, no one joined the server. We both connected to the server using its LAN IP (I don’t think it changes anything but I mention just in case…). I should also mention that yesterday I played for about an hour or two on my server with a family member. Since I did not see my server I tried again, but this time I used the WAN IP… Did not work either. The first time I connected to the server using its local IP (192.168.1.X), stayed on the server about 20 minutes while refreshing server list in an other client browser. I did as you suggested : connected to my server from my personnal computer to my server (both PCs are connected on my home network). I would never have seen my server even if everything was fine. I never realized that 2.60 does not show empty and full servers. I recognize however that this is a step toward success. I tried what you suggested but it still does not seem to work. Go visit your server (connect), stay there, open another et client browser, and after a while, you should see your server in ET client browser, no matter which binary versions you are using. You can find my tool here: Be aware that you must use STRG C in console for the tool, as i did not have the time to code more on that tool recently. But to my knowledge 2.55 source code was never released, so i can not check. I wrote an extra tool for this to check this out, and so far my observations are consistent with this theory. In detail, a 2.55 client sends: getservers empty full A 2.55 client seems to request a superset of what a 2.6b client will request. The problem most likely is that the mod binaries you are using are requesting servers from id masterserver in a different way. However when I installed jaymod on my client, the server disappeared from the server browser. ![]() ![]() I made a few test with patch 2.55 and my server was listed when I was using the 2.55 client clean install. If it works well in HLSW, can you tell me why I do not see it in ET server browser? I am affraid my server never gets known if it does not benefit from this “publicity”…Īlso, i realized that it seems my router is not the problem. I’ve already put dozen of hours in this and I am getting nowhere :(!įYI : Port forwarded on my router = (27960, 27950, 27965, 27952) I even added 27900, 27951 “just in case”… But as you can guess it did not solve my problem… It even shows in the server console that heartbeat is sent… Here are the master server configuration in my server.cfg (I have done many test on these parameters) It does not seem to be listed in alternate game servers either. I configured port forward on my router and I even tried to add iptables rules to make sure I had done everything to make it work (router using dd-wrt firmware). From my network I can connect to my server using my WAN IP (108.59.74.169:27960). I’ve been trying to make my server working for days and it is almost done, however I am not able to make it appear in servers list. ![]()
